Board of Directors and Board Committees

District Medical Societies 

New Brunswick is divided into medical districts, and each district has a local medical society that plays an important role in the governance of the NBMS. Learn more about district medical societies.

The NBMS provides dedicated funding to support the Medical Staff Offices (MSOs) and District Medical Societies in addressing critical needs within the medical community. To learn more, click here.

Sections

Sections work to represent the clinical and economic interests of members from the same specialty (i.e. the Section of Pediatrics, Section of Neurology, etc.). Each section has a representative who receives information from the NBMS related to their specialty and communicates with the society on specialty-related issues. Learn more about Sections.

President’s Letters  

The NBMS regularly engages members on issues important to physicians. President’s Letters are issued by the NBMS president as required to ensure members are kept up to date on pressing health-care issues, government relations, NBMS programs, and more. Click here to view recent President’s Letters.
