The New Brunswick Medical Society (NBMS) has created partnerships with Dalhousie University Medicine and the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick to provide members with access to virtual accredited medical education in English and French.
Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine
NBMS members can access the Nova Scotia Community Hospital Program’s weekly virtual presentations in English. These accredited presentations are accessible to all New Brunswick physicians at no cost. The presentation schedule can be found here.
To receive your certificate of completion, you must be registered in Dalhousie’s CPD Database and complete the program evaluation.
If you are not already registered, please complete the Physician Data Form and send it to cpd@dal.ca.
The evaluation link will be shared in the chat at the end of the presentation and will also be emailed to all participants afterward.
Once the evaluation is complete, you may request your CPD certificate by emailing cpd@dal.ca.
Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick
The NBMS and the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick are pleased to provide virtual continuing professional development in French. NBMS members can now register, at no cost, to access the University of Sherbrooke’s roster of accredited lunchtime webinars. See the 2026-2027 program list here.
Local CME
Physicians interested in hosting local medical education can receive funding through the NBMS Support Funding for Medical Staff Offices and District Medical Societies.
