Statement on end of New Brunswick measles outbreak

The New Brunswick Medical Society is pleased to hear the measles outbreak has been declared over. We thank the dedicated physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and Public Health officials for their diligent work and professionalism through this challenging outbreak. The NBMS reminds the public of the importance of vaccinations, which are the best protection against vaccine-preventable diseases, such as measles.
