Statement on the Federal Finance Minister announcement related to private corporations

“The New Brunswick Medical Society is pleased that the Federal Finance Minister is open to adjusting his proposal related to private corporations.  We look forward to continuing the dialogue on the tax proposal with the Federal government.

The changes proposed will take time to review, but this announcement by Minister Morneau is certainly progress both in terms of the Minister’s approach to consultations and in terms of recognizing the particular circumstances of health professionals and small business owners.”
