Statement on the Canada – New Brunswick Health Accord

Fredericton – We are pleased that the Government of New Brunswick has reached a 10-year agreement with the Government of Canada on Federal Health-care funding.  This is a positive step for New Brunswick patients, and reflects an important focus on increasing access to home care and mental-health care in the Province. 

By securing targeted funding for these priorities, we believe the Province of New Brunswick will be well-positioned to take steps that improve the quality of life and quality of care available to patients in our Province.  We look forward to partnering with the New Brunswick government to develop programs which will support these goals, and improve the delivery of health care for our patients.
