Physicians encourage New Brunswickers to get vaccinated

“The New Brunswick Medical Society is encouraged that more than 70 per cent of New Brunswickers have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and we urge those who have not yet rolled up their sleeves to do so as soon as possible. We all have a role to play in protecting our loved ones and communities from the virus. By getting vaccinated, you not only protect yourself but you take us one step closer to a more normal life with our health system less at risk of being overwhelmed by COVID-19 cases and fewer Public Health restrictions impeding our daily lives. We know that COVID-19 is not going away; we will have to learn to live with it as we do other viruses and infectious diseases, but vaccines are our best protection. We strongly encourage those who have not gotten their first dose of vaccine to book an appointment through a regional health authority clinic or participating pharmacy.” For more information, click here.
